Letters of Barrett Wendell

Friends and correspond - ents of the late Professor Barrett Wendell, of Harvard University, who have in their possession letters from him which might serve for biographical purposes, are asked to send them, in their original form or in copies, to Mr. M. A. DeWolfe Howe, 8 Arlington Street, Boston. The originals will be promptly returned on request, after the transcription of passages that might be used in connection with the volume, to be made up largely of Professor Wendell’s characteristically vivid letters, on which Mr. Howe is now at work.
