He’ll pitch right out of his bassinet.
Hey! Raise the side of the fellow’s crib.
He’s getting over. He ’ll crack a rib.
Look out! To-day is the day he dares
Climb the gate at the top of the stairs.
Go get him! He’s out in the entrance hall.
I thought his play pen looked too small.
Hurry up there! Fence the garden in
As high as a very tall man’s chin.
Come on! He’s learned to lift the latch,
And I have an idea he’s hard to catch.
Run! Run faster! We’re still too slow.
