THE little bat hangs upside down,
And downside up the possum.
To show a smile they have to frown,
Say those who’ve run across ‘em.

IN the small scale
I admire the snail:
There is no spouse
In his house.

Jaculus jaculus,
Nothing miraculous:
Rat of a sort,
Front legs too short,
Hind legs too long;
All rather wrong.
Small kangaroo,
But not for the Zoo.
Hard now to class him:
Mind if we pass him ?
