The Carnal Myth
by Weybright and Talley, $6.50. Mr. Dahlberg’s “I have been writing posthumously for a generation” is an understatement; his prose reads like Urn Burial. His argument is the misery of humanity’s sexual condition — a complaint eloquently put, but about as practical as lamenting that the sun rises in the east. Warning: Mr. Dahlberg’s mythological references should not be borrowed without checking against some less subjective authority.
