Persian Gulf

From a story by Elaine Godfrey

What politician, after a dismissive insult by Donald Trump in March 2020, took up the mantle of “the woman in Michigan”?

She also goes by “Big Gretch.”

And by the way, did you know that the Persian Gulf is widely considered the world’s warmest sea? The region’s climate is obviously toasty, but temperatures are also boosted by the shallowness of the gulf, which has an average depth of only about 160 feet.

In August, the shallows often pass 90 degrees Fahrenheit, and surface temps have been recorded as high as 99.7 degrees. For those keeping score at home, that’s above body temperature—dive on in!

Until tomorrow.
