Homer Simpson, on whom one can count for so much wisdom, once shared with wife Marge that the three hairs on his nearly bald yellow head were almost long enough to achieve a "comb-over." Simple enough.

My late, but still much loved (and missed) grandfather used to call his morning ritual of combing the last few strands of hair over his rapidly-balding pate "optimism." My grandpa was a Yankee and prejudiced as a KKK member, but he was wise about some things.

I'd like to suggest that the hairs combined
form a "Robin-hood". Taking from the rich,
and giving to the poor.
