Dave McIntyre, of Ottawa, Ont., writes, "Could we get a word for the phrase 'in terms of'? Or better yet, ban its usage altogether."

I come not to praise the phrase "in terms of" but to bury it.
4 a : a word or expression that has a precise meaning in some uses or is peculiar to a science, art, profession, or subject
b plural : expression of a specified kind
