Terry Elliott, of Apple Valley, Minn., writes: "'Unsubscribe': is that the best we can do? You 'cancel a subscription' to a magazine or other tree-based periodical, but you 'unsubscribe' to an electronic newsletter. Can't we do better than this, just adding the ubiquitous 'un-' thing? How about a word that says 'Cancel my previously registered request for electronic stuff'?"

Your last word provides a response. To cancel you can say "stuffit".
