Photos of the Week: 5/31-6/6

This is my sixth edition of "Photos of the Week", and I have to say that I'm really enjoying it, and plan to keep it up indefinitely - thank you for the continued feedback. The way I keep thinking of the series is like this: Remember your past week, all the things you did, big and small? Well, while you were doing that, here are a few other things that took place around the world at the same time -- the Earth remains an endlessly interesting place. In this week's edition, the world's largest tree hug, vandalized prehistoric rock art in Libya, a newly released Hubble image, a Black Bloc protester, and much more.
