Courtney Kampa (1987–2022) held a B.A. in creative writing from the University of Virginia and an M.F.A. from Columbia University, where she won the David Craig Austin Memorial Award for Outstanding Thesis. She was awarded a Wallace Stegner Fellowship at Stanford University in 2017, and her work has been published in Boston Review, TriQuarterly, The Journal, The National Poetry Review, and elsewhere.
