James Kunen is a twenty-year-old Columbia University junior, a participant in the insurrection there last spring and an admitted sympathizer with the radical aims of his generation. These passages from his journal show him to be more humanist than revolutionary, more democrat than anarchist, a hint to despairing elders that our world may be in better hands than they think.
