Kurt Vonnegut

Kurt Vonnegut was an American writer best known for his novel Slaughterhouse-Five. Prior to his writing career, Vonnegut served in the U.S. Army, which influenced the anti-war sentiment of his later work. In total, he was the author of 14 novels, as well as numerous short-story collections, plays, and works of nonfiction.
