Robin George Andrews

Robin George Andrews is a science journalist based in the United Kingdom. He holds a Ph.D. in volcanology from the University of Otago, in New Zealand. His writing on the Earth, space, and planetary sciences has appeared in The Atlantic, The New York Times, Quanta Magazine, National Geographic, Scientific American, and elsewhere. In 2022, he was awarded the Angela Croome Award for continued excellence in science journalism and the David Perlman Award for Excellence in Science Journalism—News. He’s the author of two books: Super Volcanoes and How to Kill an Asteroid.
