Samuel Ashworth

Samuel Ashworth is a creative-writing professor at George Washington University and the author of The Death and Life of August Sweeney, a novel in the form of an autopsy report. His article on the decline of the autopsy was noted in Best American Science Writing 2021. He writes regularly for The Washington Post, Eater, Punch, and other outlets. He lives in Washington, D.C.
