Victory Is Not Enough

EGON RANSHOFEN-WERTHEIMER, an Austrian by birth, who was an aviator in the last war and who has been successively a journalist, a representative of his country in the League of Nations, and a professor at an American university, offers a blueprint for the peace which combines originality in point of view with a wealth of experience of the European political scene. He is profoundly convinced of the necessity of a European federation, to be imposed by force if necessary, as the sole alternative to anarchy or to the absorption of Europe by the Soviet Union.
